 Yes, the Eureka Fire Search and Rescue Association was founded in 2011 as a charitable, non-profit organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service to promote and support the programs and mission of the Eureka Fire Protection District, including its Search and Rescue Team. Contributions to the organization are tax deductible under section 170 of the code.

How can you help? Our SAR volunteers freely contribute their time but we need to train and equip them for the mission. The goodwill and generosity of the public can help us fund ongoing operational expenses, maintain/purchase equipment, canine equipment, accredited training programs/certifications for the volunteers and canines.
